About Innovate Design.

Duane Ensing + Innovate Design Collective brings over three decades of hands-on design and building experience to Vancouver Island, having worked in the field since 1992.

As a visual artist by training and a principal designer, Duane approaches every project with a simple philosophy: "Do it once. Do it right." He knows the value of your time and investment. By engineering and building outdoor spaces correctly from the ground up, he ensures your landscape requires minimal hassle, leaving you more time to enjoy it with the people who matter most.

A Unified Approach to Your Property

Your home's exterior should function as an extension of the architecture itself. Looking at the complete picture—from scope and budget to site-specific conditions—Duane coordinates the ideal team of specialized craftsmen to bring your landscape to life. Every element outside your walls is considered to deliver the most functional, beautiful scenario for your property.
